This hill station located at a distance of 5km from our himagiri homestay. Its at a height of 1,500 meters, is surrounded by thick forests as well as a enjoyable climate throughout the year.

Trekking on Hills

This beautiful place is surrounded by the Western Ghats range and blessed together with silver cascades of mountain streams as well as lush flora. It’s beautifully laid out attractive gardens and charming mountain and valley views are a pleasure to the eye. Spectacular sunsets are a must see from different places in the district.

Rain or Shine rafting happens any day throughout monsoon(till end of November).

Duration will be around 45 minutes to an hour depending on the flow of river at any particular time( Includes Safety gear and Guides, Safety briefing, Pool lessons, Rafting & Transit back to base in our vehicles). .

Ballalarayana Durga

Trek to Ballalarayana Durga is an amazing experience with steep slopes and lush green forest. Other must see attraction include a breathe-taking water fall rejuvenating your sense and the vibrant colors of the sky at the valley view point. To make your stay memorable we also offer options such a camp fire, camping, outdoor games, Plantation walk rafting and seasonal activities.

Himagiri Home stay is located 64 Kms from heart of Chikmagalur its 1 hour 30 Minutes drive. Surrounded by Tea estates and independent houses (very safe location because of houses and resident)

White Water Rafting

White water rafting Bhadra is safe for beginners, first timers and non-swimmers too.

Open for age group of 10 years and above. We have taken 72 year old granny too.

Stretch of around 7-8 kms on river(6 kms by road).
